Sample Financial Plans

Sample Financial Plan - The Burke Family

The Burke's have a significant net worth of approximately $17 million but the bulk of it is tied to the family business. We use our Decision Center tool to explore different sale prices for the business. We determined the sale price needed to allow the Burke's to fund their other goals of family and charitable gifting and enhanced lifestyle. The report shows the Expected Cash Flow based on their current track, which will deplete their assets by age 82/81. After prioritizing their goals, we were able to determine that selling the business and reallocating the funds they can make their family gifts and charitable donations while minimizing the risk of outliving their assets.

Sample Financial Plan - The Miller Family

The Millers have a net worth of approximately $2 million. Their lifetime cash flow does not quite make it to the desired age of 100. We use our Decision Center tool to offer some ideas to help them meet their retirement goals. In this sample, the Miller's were at risk of outliving their assets because they did not have enough saved for retirement. Options here included altering their lifestyle in order to spend less and save more towards retirement, selling their vacation home, or retiring later than originally plan. The report shows the tremendous impact of simply working and saving for three more years than originally planned.

Sample Financial Plan - The Rosen Family

Keegan and Taylor are successful young professionals who are preparing to have a child and purchase a home. We use our Decision Center tool to investigate whether they can comfortably afford their family and home ownership goals at their current spending levels. This report shows that while the Rosen's can still expect to afford to buy a home and raise a family, there is a very substantial difference in what they have left to potentially pass on to their children without implementing other lifestyle changes.

By making it a point to prioritize your life goals and plan ahead, we can make smart financial decisions together.
