Anthony has been a financial professional building relationships with his clients since 2005. Prior to Stratos, Anthony spent a combined total of twelve years at Wells Fargo Advisors, and its acquisition, Wachovia Securities. With an emphasis on continuing education, he has also earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, or CFP®, practitioner designation from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. For this designation he had to complete approved educational programs, pass rigorous examinations, and meet stringent experience requirements.

Realizing that one of the biggest risks to investors are the common emotional and behavioral mistakes they make with their investments, Anthony also dedicated himself to earn the BEHAVIORAL FINANCIAL ADVISOR™, or BFA™ designation. To earn this designation, practitioners must pass a proctored exam demonstrating the knowledge and process of helping clients make smarter financial decision by focusing on their goals and values; and realizing when emotions may be causing a forced sense of fear or exuberance. Many people can identify with the urge to sell their investments when markets get volatile or chasing returns on a high-flying stock and Anthony has a process to help rationalize these decisions. 

As a Wealth Advisor, Anthony helps clients manage their assets through life planning.  Using a thorough and holistic investment approach, he helps clients develop and implement strategies for building wealth and realizing their life goals. His mission is to provide personalized and timely financial advice and guidance with the highest level of professional service.

Anthony was born and raised in Yonkers, New York.  He relocated to Ridgefield Connecticut in 2014 with his wife, Kelly, and two sons, Thomas and Michael. He received a BS in computer information systems from Manhattan College. Later, he went on to Northeastern University in Boston, where he attained both an MBA in Finance and International Business Management and an MS in Finance. Anthony was recognized by Beta Gamma Sigma, the international business honors society, upon graduating in the top of his class from Northeastern. Anthony has a strong commitment to helping his clients pursue their financial goals. He believes the first step in serving his clients is listening to them, creating a collaborative financial planning process that results in defined expectations and a better understanding of personal financial management.

In his spare time, Anthony enjoys spending time with his family, outdoors activities such as camping, hiking and backpacking, watching sports (the pros and his kids), and is a proud member of the Ridgefield Volunteer Fire Department.

Joe received his Bachelor’s degree and MBA from Iona College. He is a former board member of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to funding diabetes research. He also is a Board member for the Western Junior Colonials Youth Hockey League. In his spare time, he enjoys playing Golf, Softball, and Hockey. Joe currently resides in Ridgefield, CT with his high school sweetheart, Carolyn, and their three children, James, Colin, and Andrew.

Joe has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He was previously the founder of Elite Lending Services, and held management positions at United Rentals, and Kisco Retirement Communities. Joe currently holds his Series 7 through LPL Financial and 66 securities licenses through LPL and Stratos Wealth Partners and is licensed to sell Life, Accident, and Health Insurance.

Mike is Managing Partner and the Director of National Sales with Stratos Wealth Partners, an independent, partner-run wealth and financial management firm.

In his current role, Mike creates and implements business development strategies across the Stratos enterprise with Field Leadership partners, and drives the recruitment, development, growth and acquisition of financial advisory teams in the Northeast Region of the country.

With over 25 years of experience in financial services, Mike has attained various field sales organization and distribution-level leadership positions throughout his career.  Mike began his career in the industry as a Financial Services Representative with Dreyfus Corporation.

Mike earned his degree from Fordham University in New York, is an Investment Advisory Representative with Stratos and holds FINRA registrations though LPL Financial. He spends his personal time enjoying his family (including “Chase” the Bernedoodle), skiing, cycling and golfing. He lives in Garden City, New York.

In 2022, Mike will be biking with lifelong friends in the “Gravel Grinder Tour of the Canyons” a 165-mile bike tour from Grand Junction, Colorado to Moab, Utah.

Kate joined Stratos Wealth Partners as a Transition Specialist in 2016. Prior to joining Stratos, Kate was a licensed Insurance Agent and Registered Representative with Farmers Financial Services. She currently holds her FINRA Series 6 and 63 registrations with LPL Financial.

Kate has developed a keen understanding of the challenges and concerns faced by Small Business Owners after working closely with them for over 13 years. A passion for small business and commitment to Customer Service make the Transitions Team a great fit.

Kate is located in our San Diego location and lives with her husband and two children. She spends most of her free time on the sidelines of her kid’s soccer and baseball games or at the beach.

Kevin Elvington is the Director of Marketing for Stratos Wealth Partners, Ltd. He is responsible for managing the development, communication, and implementation of all marketing strategies and initiatives. Kevin focuses on building the Stratos brand and increasing brand awareness through public relations, website development and maintenance, advertising, email, social & print media campaigns, recruiting, competitive analysis and new marketing opportunities.

Kevin has more than 20 years of traditional and digital marketing experience. He has helped build brands for several Start-up companies, as well as, large corporations like Progressive Insurance.

Kevin is also very active in his church and community.  He serves as a leader in his local Trail Life USA boys troop and has started and participated in many character-building programs. He resides in Garfield Heights, OH with his wife and six children.

Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager with Fundamentum Investment Management. A senior investment executive with 27+ years of success integrating fundamental analysis, quantitative research, technical, and derivative management strategies to meet portfolio management objective, risk, and performance goals.

Prior to joining Fundamentum, John worked for Equity Bank Trust & Wealth Management, Federated Hermes, Inc., Public Employees Retirement System of Ohio, and the U.S. Department of Treasury – Office of Thrift Supervision.  He has been in the investment industry since 1992, including 19 with Federated Hermes Inc. where he had been both a securities analyst, senior portfolio manager, and Growth & Income Group Head. 

He is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics and received his MBA from The Ohio State University in 1992. John holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

John actively follows current events and has a passion for all types of history, ranging from Ancient to Modern times.  John is a sports enthusiast and a gym “junkie” who loves to workout, bike, and row.
